Soft Washing

Soft washing is the use of water-based, biodegradable chemicals to break down dirt and grime, remove bug nests and webs, kill mold, mildew, algae and bacteria – leaving the surface clean and sanitized.

Soft washing consumes only one-third of the water that pressure or power washing does, lasts 4 - 6 times longer, and does not erode or damage the surface like power washing often can. Soft washing also does far more than pressure washing because it does more than just clean your roof. The products utilized in the SoftWash System do not simply tidy; they penetrate, sterilize, and eliminate the root of the problem.

There are a lot of reasons to pick soft washing over pressure or power washing, but here are our biggest reasons:

  1. Substitute for power washing
    Power washing creates erosion and strips away materials that may have been loosened by decay or aging. It might be appropriate for some tasks and not others.
     
  2. It actually treats the infestation
    Your house isn't only dirty – it's contaminated. Typical pressure washing merely gets rid of the outer layer of this growth and doesn't resolve the root of the problem, leaving your surface vulnerable again not long after pressure washing is completed.

    Power washers use from 3 to 8 gallons of water per minute (gpm). In one hour of cleaning a power washer can utilize from 180 gallons upwards to 480 gallons of water. Conversely, soft washing only applies approximately 60 gallons of cleaning solution, which is comprised of about 40 gallons of water.

    The cleaning solution is so powerful that it lasts 4 – 6 times longer than power washing, making it more viable for the environment and your wallet.
